Help TBI Survivors and Caretakers Play Their Next Best Shot

“Golf is the closest game to the game we call life. You get bad breaks from good shots; you get good breaks from bad shots – but you have to play the ball where it lies.”

-Bobby Jones

An estimated 2.8 million people sustain a TBI each year

We Have The Power To Help Survivors and Those Who Take Care of Loved-ones with Traumatic Brain Injuries.

The Play It Foundation was established in response to the profound impact of Bobby Jones’ statement. Following Dean’s traumatic brain injury in 2021, Rachel, his dedicated wife, stood by his side, making critical decisions, assisting with his rehabilitation, and completely reorganizing their lives to aid his recovery. While Dean received exceptional care and attention from medical professionals, such as doctors, surgeons, nurses, rehabilitation therapists, counselors, and others, there was a noticeable lack of support or assistance available for Rachel or anyone tasked with caring for individuals with traumatic brain injuries.

To bridge this gap, the Play It Foundation actively raises funds to support survivors and caregivers affected by brain injuries. Through the organization of charity golf tournaments, generous donations, and diverse initiatives, we strive to provide survivors and caregivers with vital resources. These resources encompass counseling services, respite care, cognitive therapies, support groups, caseworkers, and financial assistance. By offering these comprehensive support systems, we empower survivors and caregivers alike to confront life’s challenges with resilience and determination, enabling them to play their next best shot in life with strength and confidence.
